After a long day on top of the Zugspitze, I had already returned to the house I was staying at when I noticed a possibly interesting sunrise unfolding. And sure enough as I headed into the surrounding fields this scene presented itself. I didn't have time to look for a better composition avoiding the houses in the background but I hope you enjoy nonetheless.

Best, Joerg

An extremely dramatic image!

As in "overcooked"? If so, I'd appreciate if you let me know. I certainly don't mind. Still learning the ropes here...

Thanks, Joerg

Great juxtaposition of the peaceful flowers and the aggressive clouds.
A great photograph is absorbed by the eyes and stored in the heart.

Stunning image Joerg --- the sky is impressive and to my eye it looks fine. Great capture!

Nice shot, I would remove the blue cast from the mountains. And tone down the skies just a tad.

Beautiful light on the mountain, and the buildings in the BG are OK. I suppose you could have gotten a bit closer to the foreground building and have had the camera even lower in the meadow to hide the background buildings. The contrast and cloud shapes add a lot of drama to the sky, which is good. The top quarter could be a little bit lighter.
