Completed in 135 AD, the Library of Celsus us one of the most beautiful examples of Roman architecture in the world. This was both a library and a tomb in honour of Celsus who was a major Roman Senator. The shot was taken during the wee hours of the day so there was an orange glow on the building. The sun comes behind the building during later in the day as it faces South East, and so to get direct light on the face of the building you have to come in the morning. Also there are many people there so you have to bide your time and wait until you get an opening.

Beautiful image -- the columns are gorgeous bits of ancient architecture! Thanks for including the history.

Good to get an atypical view of this common tourist destination! Nice detail in the marble columns.
