![]() Pemaqid Light is one of the stops on our Maine Lighthouse Tour. The dramatic rock formations are actually the edge of a tectonic plate. It's where two plates collided and one drove the other straight up. You can see that a lot of the rock looks like it flowed like liquid - you can just imagined the heat and pressure required! Image specs: Canon 7D. Canon 24-105mm L IS @ 35mm. ISO 400, f16, 1/500th second. |
