Apple just released a new iMac 27" desktop with a 5K Retina Screen:  http://store.apple.com/us/buy-mac/imac- ... tep=config

Under $3000.  I bet images will look nice on it.  A buddy just ordered one and it is scheduled to arrive in 2 weeks, Oct. 31.

Has the scaling of fonts (photoshop) been corrected yet?

That was added in CS6 - Preferences > Interface > UI Font Scaling

Font scaling has always been a PITA with the high rez monitors.  I gave up and made my windows 7 rig essentially a font rig, and the high rez iMac screen a photo rig.  And yes the fonts are way small on my iMac in photoshop.  Still running CS 5.

I also find it much faster and intuitive to net surf with my windows rig.  I can quickly open multiple windows on the net with firefox, research, compose essays, and do many things easily on my windows rig which are not easy on my iMac.  I find it essentially a need to have both rigs running constantly, side by side.  But I was windows for over a decade before adding mac, so I had a big head start.

Does that also work in Windows?  I didn't realise that feature was there so I just tried it and the font size in the menus did not change after restarting PS.
