Hi all,

I've just published a review of the Sony Duo 11 tablet computer.
I have found it to be a perfect laptop and tablet replacement for the mobile photographer.

See http://wyofoto.com/Lula-Articles/Sony_Duo_11/Sony_Duo_11_review.html

It meets my needs very well, of course YMMV.

Questions are welcome if you need more info.

Enjoy,
Miles

Miles a good review ...for all the same reasons you have pointed out and in my project of down sizing my travel photo bag I ordered the Lenova ThinkPad Twist this week. Very similar specs as the Sony with i7 processor 8GB RAM usb 3 ports and a combo 24 GB SSD/500 GB hardrive. The Ipad is the wifes travel toy and keeps her in tune with the kids and FB etc. but I also need to edit and process images on the road so started looking at the new ultrabooks and then the newer combo books. There are lots of new models out there but many can be eliminated by comparison shopping  of the features.

not sure about  windows 8 but will fight through the learning curve :)

I had not seen the Lenovo Twist.
It seems to be a bit bigger and cheaper than the Duo 11.
The keyboard is probably better, Lenovo has the best keyboards of all portables.

The screen is lower in resolution at 1366x768.
I've used my wife's Lenovo X220 with a similar screen
I think the extra resolution does really help in Lightroom.
The 128GB SSD is a bit small for some peoples needs.
It's also $400 less for a similar unit.
That may be a deciding factor for some people.

Tablet computer of the Sony brand has really amazing features and functionality. What would be the starting price range of these computers..??
