Congratulations! This is the Image of the Week selection for the Wildlife Gallery, week ending 22nd June, 2012!

On my recent trip to the South Steens HMA. One of my goal shots was a good Stallion
in a decent sunset, got this the last hour of my last day.

Oh really nice! I like that you captured this from a low angle so that the legs are fully visible, and that you got all 4 legs separated and clearly visible. Gorgeous colors to the sunset.

Lovely image Terry -- as Cindy mentioned the horse silhouette and sunset color are great, and the lightly defined, slightly dreamy grass in the foreground is just about perfect IMO! Judging from the blue horizon line, maybe a touch of CCW rotation would be in order? Stunning image!!!

Thank you all so much. Good catch on the Horizon line, I have been trying to stay on top of that. Missed this one.

For some reason after re-sizing in photo bucket to 8x6 the still appear on the site much larger?

Very nice. Funny how the 11th hour can often bring a vision together... and it worked out great for you here!

Love the mood here Terry, the soft sunset colours make a beautiful backdrop to the relaxed body language of the stallion. A very peaceful and appealing image.
