Sweet shot. The expressions are wonderful. The work on the trees is pretty obvious though and woulkd be more so in a large print. Thanks for sharing and I am glad you survived the encounter.

What a "once in a lifetime shot"....you captured the essence of the family unit....what an opportunity and honor to get to observe these bears and then document it on "film"...........Congratualations Robert!!!....the northern chill was worth the rewards!

Robert, this needs to be hung BIG on a prominent wall. Fantastic image along with a harrowing backstory. Big congrats on this achievement, both the prized shot itself, and also, the IOW.
