I just want to say, I come here often and I am in awe of the talent that shows up on this site week after week. The editors picks make me shake my head. Wow, I hope to be that good sometime in the future.

Agreed. Much of the work I see here is inspirational. For years, this site has continued to be far greater that the sum of it's parts. It is a rare and grand thing. Bravo NSN.

Thanks for posting that Chris. NSN members are a hard-working, talented bunch who have really been instrumental in making this a strong community. They share their wonderful photographs, learnings and even challenges with each other daily. We get wrapped up in the details of what we do, most of the time. But every so often it's nice to see a reminder of what makes NSN a special place. My thanks go out as well to everyone who contributes. :)

I must add to Chris's post. I am a novice compared to the stalwarts here and I find that I am always learning. Yes, sometimes people get a bit abrasive, perhaps there is less patience with repetitive newbie type questions, but overall it has been a wonderful experience. There is much less condescension here than on most other 'pro' forums, which is very refreshing.

BTW, I am referring to the forum. The galleries are outstanding which just tells you how much talent there is on this site.

Honestly, I see the images on here and look at some contests winners and ask myself "What?" the talent is dripping off this site.
