After seeing another one of Alan Murphy's gorgeous songbird images earlier tonight, my curiousity about ranch bird photography was piqued. I remember a few years ago there was a partnership between several Texas ranches to offer bird photography on their properties. It's website (Lens and land) seems to be gone now. I have seen the Laguna Seca ranch's website, but are there any other such places still offering this service? And, if anyone has photographed at such places I'd be curious to know your experience. Thanks.

Another vote for the Santa Clara ranch. While I have not yet been there it is on my list. Larry Ditto goes there a lot. Also see Birds as Art bulletin number 327. Another ranch Larry goes to is Dos Venadas: http://www.imagesforconservation.org/dosvenadas Joe Smith
