Join Greg Downing for 3 days of action-packed photography. Each year over 240 nesting pairs of Osprey, many at eye level, have been counted on Blue Cypress Lake. We have reserved the most coveted dates and arranged a 3-hour exclusive boat tour each morning. This will provide close access at the peak of action. Osprey actively nesting, chick brooding and feeding, fishing and flying in and out of nests (at close range) are all virtually guaranteed. Greg will share the secrets of slowing down and taking control of an active situation and will share with you the secrets to capturing these magnificent birds in all their glory.

Itinerary:

Day 1, Wednesday, April 18, 2012:

Evening presentation on Osprey photography at the Holiday Inn. Discussion of logistics, technical considerations and preparation for the following 3 days.

Day 2, Thursday, April 19, 2012:

Morning sunrise Osprey on the water shoot on Blue Cypress Lake - up to 3 hours depending on weather and lighting conditions. Mid day break, lunch and personal image critiques and afternoon program at hotel. Afternoon sunset shoot at nearby land-based location for ducks and waders.

Day 3, Friday, April 20, 2012:

Morning sunrise Osprey on the water shoot on Blue Cypress Lake - up to 3 hours depending on weather and lighting conditions. Mid day break, lunch and personal image critique at hotel Afternoon sunset shoot at nearby land-based location for ducks and waders.

Day 4, Saturday, April 21, 2012:

Morning sunrise Osprey on the water shoot on Blue Cypress Lake - up to 3 hours depending on weather and lighting conditions. The workshop is officially over after the morning shoot.
