I shot this on Pensacola Beach, Florida. I was attracted to the scalloped pockets carved by the wind and waves, and the way they caught the light. I was also drawn in by the wonderfully broken clouds.

Technicals - Nikon D2X w/ Tokina ATX 12-24 @ 15mm; 1/30 sec @ f/11 - mirror lock-up and MC-30 remote release; 100 ISO; No filters, Gitzo GT5540LS legs and Really Right Stuff BH-55 head; RAW file processed in Capture One 4, all other adjustments made in Photoshop CS3.
