ANNOUNCING THE BOSQUE DEL APACHE 2008 NATURESCAPES PHOTOGRAPHY SERIES
Every winter, photographers from all over the world flock to Bosque del Apache to capture breathtaking images and to attend field workshops. This year, NatureScapes presents a special Photography Series Event during Bosque's peak season! Our Bosque event features renowned speakers and photographers offering seminars on Bird Photography, Photoshop Techniques, High Dynamic Range (HDR) processing and Field Workshops. We'll also have an exhibit area with product demonstrations and special sale events. If you sign up early, you can attend our opening dinner, featuring a keynote address by Rick Sammon. This event will be a great way to network with other photographers and meet members of your online community!
If you've never been to Bosque before, this year would be the perfect time to go: you'll meet and make friends, learn valuable techniques and capture wonderful images. If you make the Bosque pilgrimage every year, you can enhance your trip with a weekend of fun and education.
INFORMATION ON THE AREA
Headquartered at the Macey Center in Socorro, New Mexico, you are just minutes away from one of the most spectacular wildlife refuges in North America at Bosque del Apache. Bosque lies along nine miles of the Rio Grande in south-central New Mexico. Low dikes built in the refuge in the late 1930’s have created extensive watering holes, an ideal winter habitat for the tens of thousands of birds, including Snow Geese, Sandhill Cranes, ducks and many other birds that gather and stay throughout the winter.
